Unilever PLC Class Action Lawsuit (UL Lawsuit)

The Klein Law Firm announces that a class action complaint (Unilever PLC Class Action Lawsuit) has been filed on behalf of shareholders of Unilever PLC (NYSE: UL) who purchased American Depositary Receipts between September 2, 2020 and July 21, 2021, inclusive. The action, which was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleges that the Company violated federal securities laws.

In particular, the Unilever lawsuit alleges that a) in July 2020, the board of Ben & Jerry’s, one of Unilever’s marquee brands, passed a resolution to end sales of its ice cream in “Occupied Palestinian Territory” ; and b) this boycott decision risked adverse governmental actions for violations of laws, executive orders, or resolutions aimed at discouraging boycotts, divestment, and sanctions of Israel adopted by 35 U.S. states.

Shareholders have until August 15, 2022 to petition the court for lead plaintiff status. Your ability to share in any recovery does not require that you serve as lead plaintiff. You may choose to be an absent class member.
